Maggie is a cardiology nurse and a 5th year medical student at the University of Edinburgh.
Maggie is a member of the board of the ESC Association of Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professionals (ACNAP) and ACNAP Liaison Officer. Maggie is a member of the education and heart failure matters committees of the ESC Heart Failure Association and the education committee of the British Society for Heart Failure. Maggie led the women's heart health subgroup of the Scottish Governments 'Women's Health Plan' and continues to contribute to implementing the Plan's actions.
Areas of interest: adult congenital heart disease, cardiac obstetrics, chronic, acute & advanced heart failure, devices, biomarkers, valvular heart disease and women's heart health.
