Maggie is a cardiology nurse and a third year medical student at the University of Edinburgh. Maggie is a member of the Board of the ESC Heart Failure Association & Association of CV Nursing & Allied Professions (ACNAP) & chairs the ACNAP education committee. She is also Chair of the British Adult Congenital Cardiac Nurse Association & Scottish Heart Failure Nurse Forum. Maggie is a member of the British Society for Heart Failure education committee. Maggie led the women's heart health subgroup of the Scottish Governments 'Women's Health Plan' and continues to contribute to implementing the Plan's actions. Areas of interest: adult congenital heart disease, cardiac obstetrics, chronic, acute & advanced heart failure, devices, biomarkers, valvular heart disease and women's heart health.
