Professor Lale Tokgozoglu

Prof. Tokgözoğlu has served on the executive committee of the European Society of Atherosclerosis and is the immediate Past-President of the EAS. She is the Deputy Editor of the European Heart Journal.She has served as the president of the ‘Atherosclerosis and Vascular Biology Working Group of the European Society of Cardiology’ between 2008 and 2010. Prof. Tokgözoğlu has served on the board of the Prevention Association of the European Society of Cardiology between 2011-2016. She has been on the European Society of Cardiology Fellowship and Training Committee and the Education Committee. She was the President of the Turkish Society of Cardiology between 2014-2016 after serving on the executive committee for several years. Prof. Tokgözoğlu has been elected to the ‘Science Academy in Turkey’ in 2014. She is on the Editorial Board for European Heart Journal, Atherosclerosis, Anatolian Journal of Cardiology and Archives of the Turkish Society of Cardiology.
