Biography
Erika Sivarajan Froelicher is a Emeritus Professor in Nursing and Epidemiology & Biostatistics, School of Nursing and Medicine, University of California San Francisco, San Francisco CA, USA. Her research interests have included primary, secondary and tertiary prevention (rehabilitations). Her Clinical trials research have focused on Smoking Cessation. Exercise and Physical Activity, Depression and Social Support. She has supervised more than 30 doctoral students at UCSF and internationally. He international work has been extensive staring and supporting Master's programs in Nursing as well as assisting with the start up of new PhD programs at he University of Basel, University of Vienna, University of Jordan, University, Sultan Quabosh University in Muscat Omen, and most recently SHIFA University in Izmir, Turkey and Shifa Tameer e Millat University in Islamabad, Pakistan. She together with co-authors have written the first comprehensive textbook "Cardiac Nursing" in 6th editions.
