Current position: Director of the Jesselson Integrated Heart Center of Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, in charge of both cardiology and cardiac surgery departments. He is a professor of cardiology at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an adjuct professor of medicine at the Mayo College of Medicine and Science . Prof. Glikson graduated cardiology and electrophysiology at the Sheba medical center and at Mayo Clinic respectively . Served as the Director of EP at the Sheba Medical Center until 2017 . Served as the chair of the Israeli working group of pacing and arrhythmia , and as president of Israel Heart Society . Served as the co chair and chair of scientific program of EHRA 2015-2019 , member of the ESC scientific program committee (2017-2020 ) and as an ESC board member 2018-2020 . He was the chair and first author of EHRA EAPCI consensus paper on LAAs and of the ESC 2021 pacing guidelines . Is currently the chair of the ESC board committee for big data.
