A former Professor of Cardiology at GB Pant Hospital, University of Delhi, Prof. Sethi has been a pioneer in developing Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiac Intervention in India. He has served as President of Cardiology Society of India, Editor of Indian Heart Journal, and a member of editorial board of Journal of Invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is a recipient of Padma Shri, the 4th highest Civilian Award of Government of India; Distinguished Almnus of Maulana Azad Medical College; New Delhi, Distinguished Faculty of GB Pant Hospital; New Delhi, Life Time Achievement Award; Legend in Cardiology by Delhi Medical Association; Award of Excellence in Cardiac Pacing ; among many others.
In 2019 Prof. Sethi has been placed on the Innovators List of Heart Rhythm Society of USA. He is also a professional member of ESC.
