Jolanda Sabatino was born in Catanzaro, Italy,in 1986. She received the Laurea degree in medicine from the Università degli Studi“Magna Græcia” di Catanzaro (UMG), Catanzaro, Italy, in 2011, where she is currently pursuing the
Ph.D. degree in biomarkers of chronic and complex diseases. She received the Board Certification in cardiovascular diseases in 2017. Since 2017, she has been a Research Fellow with the Royal Brompton Hospital, Imperial College
London, London, U.K. Since 2008, she has been with the Molecular and Cellular Cardiology Laboratory, UMG. Her current
research interests include epigenetics, biomarker discovery, noninvasive cardiovascular imaging and advanced echocardiography in congenital heart disease.
Dr. Sabatino was a recipient of the Young Investigator Award of the Italian Society of Cardiology, Best Poster Award of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), ESC Training Grant Winner 2019.
