Annamaria Kosztin is an assistant professor in cardiology at the Heart and Vascular Center. She graduated at Semmelweis University in 2011, completed her PhD in 2017 in the topic of non-pharmacological treatment of chronic systolic heart failure: CRT and stem cell therapy, her supervisor was Professor Bela Merkely.
Now she is working as a heart failure specialist, also implanting pacemakers, ICDs and CRT devices, she is the head of the device program in the Heart and Vascular Center, Semmelweis University. She has been participating in several heart failure studies, and as a co-principal investigator in the BUDAPEST CRT upgrade study (NCT 02270840). She also has a special interest in the treatment of HFPEF and machine learning.
