Byung-Hee Oh, Professor Emeritus of Seoul National University College of Medicine, is currently President of Incheon Sejong Hospital, Incheon, Korea. Professor Oh obtained his medical degree from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1977. He had been Chief of Cardiology and Director of Cardiovascular Center at Seoul National University Hospital (2004-2007), Vice President and Chief of Clinical Services (2007-2010), and the President and CEO of the same institution (2013-2016). He had been the chairman of the Korean Society of Cardiology (2014-2016) and had served as the chairman of a few working groups of the Korean Society of Cardiology. He is Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and European Society of Cardiology. His major clinical and research interests focus on heart failure and hypertension. He has participated as a national coordinator in many international clinical trials of heart failure such as SHIFT, ASCEND-HF, ATMOSPHERE, RELAX-AHF-ASIA and PARAGON-HF.
