Professor Antonio Martinez-Rubio

Antoni Martínez-Rubio studied Medicine at the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona and specialized in Internal Medicine and in Cardiology (Univ. Hospitals of Düsseldorf and of Münster (Germany)) where he also got his Doctor medicinae. He is Magister in Health Management. Since 2003 he is the director of the Dept. of Cardiology of the Univ. Hospital of Sabadell (Univ. Autonoma of Barcelona). He has served in several boards, including the Catalan Society of Cardiology or the European Commission. He is Past-President of the International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy. He is reviewer of several scientific journals. He is first-author and coauthor of more than 370 publications and presentations in international congresses, journals, monographs and textbooks. He has given invited lectures in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Finland, Germany, Italy, Israel, Japan, Portugal, Rumania, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, U.S.A..
