Biography
Mário Santos is a Cardiology Consultant at Porto University Hospital Center dedicated to the care of heart failure and pulmonary arterial hypertension patients. His clinical research interests comprehend pulmonary circulation pathophysiology and the role of exercise as a diagnostic tool and as a treatment in cardiovascular diseases. He is passionate on the transforming role of physiology and evidence-based medicine on medical education and on the quality of cardiovascular care.
