Biography
Cardiologist working at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center in Athens, Greece as Deputy Director of the Non-Invasive Cardiology Section. Head of Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing and Cardiac Rehabilitation Laboratory. Published a significant number of full papers on the subjects of exercise physiology, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, cardiac rehabilitation, heart failure, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), arrhythmias, left ventricular function. Also developed a particular interest on psychosocial aspects of heart disease and the clinical use of music interventions in cardiac patients (music therapy and music medicine).
