Doctor Maria Jesus Salvador Taboada

Dr. Salvador had got the MD and also the PhD degrees in the University of Barcelona. She did her training in Cardiology at the University Hospital Clínic, Barcelona and expands his knowledge in London and Chicago. Doctor Salvador has dedicated her entire professional life to Clinical Cardiology in the Spanish Public Health System and in private practice, creating and managing a cardiology team and has combined her professional life with corporate life inside of Catalan Society of Cardiology, later on in the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SSC) where she was elected President (first and only time one woman has been President in 77 years of history of that Society). She was one of the Founder Members of the Council for Cardiology Practice inside the ESC and its first Chairperson. In the ESC she has been Member of the Nominating Committee and the Education Committee, has participated in Taskforces and surveys. She is sharing the direction of a CME Course in the SSC. She is ESC Fellow.
