András Komócsi MD. DSc. is a full time professor of cardiology at the Department of Interventional Cardiology, Heart Centre University of Pécs, Hungary.
His expertise covers the fields of coronary interventions and various aspects of medical therapy in cardiology.
His main fields of research interest include the antiplatelet and anticoagulant medications, the bleeding avoidance strategies in the interventional cardiology as well as the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac manifestations of systemic autoimmune diseases. His educational activities extend to various levels of graduate, postgraduate teaching, and PhD programs with high number of articles as well as multiple lectures, and workshops held in English, German and Hungarian.
