Professor Hamayak Sisakian

Professor Hamayak Sisakian is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Cardiology and Head of General and Invasive Cardiology at University Hospital 1. Director of University Ultrasound Training Center at Yerevan State Medical University. He passed his undergraduate medical education and postgraduate residency at Yerevan State Medical University, Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He received his doctoral research degree in Moscow Medical Sechenov Academy. His teaching activities are related to the undergraduate and postgraduate education in cardiology, continuing medical education in cardiology and echocardiography. His main research activities are related to the study of remodeling . Professor Sisakian has been involved as Principal Investigator and/or National Coordinator in several randomized controlled trials . Professor Sisakian was President of Armenian Cardiologist’s Association from 2019 to 2021 and Fellow of American Heart Association.
