Biography
Peter Clemmensen graduated as BS and MD at the University of Copenhagen, and currently holds joints positions as Professor of Cardiology, Associate Professor of Medicine and Chief Physician working mainly in Interventional Cardiology at Department of General and Interventional Cardiology, University Heart Center, Hamburg-Eppendorf, Hamburg Germany and Department of Regional Research, University of Southern Denmark, Odense, Denmark. Previous President the Acute Cardiovascular Care Association. Past President of the Danish Heart Foundation. Previous board member of ISCE and ISCP. Professor Clemmensen has published more than 300 scientific papers (N Engl J Med, Lancet, Circulation, Eur Heart J, J Am Coll Cardiol, Am Heart J, Am J Cardiol, Heart) including chapters in international textbooks. The research focus is acute cardiovascular care. Professor Clemmensen has mentored numerous bachelor, master and dissertations candidates. Regular reviewer for major journals in medicine/cardiology.
