Biography
Dr. Oliver Weingärtner is an interventional cardiologist at the University Hospital in Jena, Germany. He has been trained in general internal medicine, intensive care medicine, cardiology and angiology. As the current President of the German Society of Lipidology (DGFF) he has a special interest in cholesterol metabolism and cardiovascular risk prediction.
