Specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation with an authorization in sports medicine and has been engaged in cardiac rehabilitation from 2001. Ph.D in 2011 in sports physiology and sports cardiology with the thesis "Cardiovascular function, atrial fibrillation and cardiovascular health effects of long-term endurance training in three different age groups of former or current long distance cross-country skiers. A 28-30 year follow-up study". Authorized ultrasound operator in echocardiology and vascular ultrasound in 2014. Member of the board of the Working group in Preventive cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation and sports cardiology of the Norwegian Cardiac Society.
