Professor Umit Yasar Sinan

Umit Yasar Sinan is working as Associated Professor of Cardiology at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa Institute of Cardiology. He has graduated as medical doctor in 2008 in Istanbul University Cerrahpasa School of Medicine. Then he started cardiology residency in Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa Institute of Cardiology in 2009. Since 2009, He has been working as a consultant cardiologist in same institution and graduated as an associated professor of cardiology since November 2020. On completion of his cardiology training, he undertook a Master Degree in pulmonary hypertension under Professor Nazzareno Galie at the Alma Mater Studiorum-Universita di Bologna. He also worked with Professor Michael A. Gatzoulis as an observer in ACHD centre at Royal Brompton Hospital, London. He is an academician at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa Institute of Cardiology. His main areas of expertise are pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary vascular disease, adult congenital heart disease and echocardiography.
