Professor Tim Leiner

Dr. Leiner is presently tenured Professor of Radiology at the Department of Radiology, Utrecht University Medical Center in Utrecht, The Netherlands, and Past President of the International Working Group on MR Angiography (currently known as Society for Magnetic Resonance Angiography). His research interests center around the development and implementation of new MR techniques for cardiovascular imaging. Dr. Leiner has served as faculty member and member of the organizing committees at the annual meetings of the ESMRMB, ISMRM, SCMR, ECR and RSNA among others. He currently serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (JCMR). Dr. Leiner is the author of over 350 original papers, review articles and book chapters as well as editor of several electronic radiology textbooks. Dr. Leiner is President of the ISMRM.
