Ana Ljubas, RN, BSN, MSN, FESC is currently working as the Assistant director, Head nurse of University Hospital Center Zagreb, the largest hospital in Croatia. She is also engaged as a teaching assistant in Department of Health care in University of Applied Health Sciences Zagreb, and a teaching associate in Graduate Program of Studies in Nursing in University of Zagreb School of Medicine. Ana Ljubas is a current chairperson of Croatian Association of Cardiology Nurses and the chair of the Committee for expert supervision of the Croatian Nursing Chamber. Her work is dedicated to prevention of cardiovascular diseases and rehabilitation of cardiovascular patients. She is especially interested in development of educational programs for cardiology nurses and positioning of cardiology nurses in healthcare system in accordance with acquired competencies.
