Professor Sumeet Chugh

Dr. Chugh is the Pauline and Harold Price Endowed Professor of Cardiac Electrophysiology, Director of the Heart Rhythm Center and Associate Director of the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai Los Angeles; and Professor of Medicine-in-Residence at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is the current Secretary-Treasurer of the Association of University Cardiologists, Vice-President of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Society and an elected member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation. Dr. Chugh leads a translational research program on prediction and prevention of sudden cardiac death, and has published over 200 peer-reviewed scientific papers. He is a frequent lecturer on sudden death and arrhythmia-related topics and has accepted more than 300 national, international and regional invited speaking engagements.
