Margarita Brida graduated from University of Zagreb where she also completed her specialisation and doctoral postgraduate study. She underwent two-year Fellowship in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) at the University Hospital Muenster, Germany and Royal Brompton Hospital London, UK. She also graduated from Harvard, Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program. She is currently working as Consultant Cardiologist at the tertiary Centre for ACHD in Croatia. She is Vice President of the Croatian Society of Cardiology Working Group for ACHD and ESC ACHD Study Group for Central and South Eastern Europe. Her current work is focused on further development of ACHD in South European region. She directed last ESC EuroGUCH meeting 2019 in Zagreb, Croatia. She is also official Nucleus Member of the ESC Working Group on ACHD. Her main fields of interest are echocardiography and imaging, heart failure and pulmonary arterial hypertension in ACHD.
