Biography
Associate Professor of eHealth and Image processing at Politecnico di Milano, Enrico Caiani has a MS in Electronic Engineering (1996) and a PhD in Bioengineering in 2000 from the Politecnico di Milano. He served asChair of the Working Group on e-Cardiology (16-18), Vice-Chair of Digital Health Committee (18-20), and since 2020 he is involved in the activities of the of the ESC Regulatory Affairs Committee, representing ESC at EU level in the eHealth Stakeholders group (DG CONNECT) and in the MDCG-New technologies group (DG GROW). He is the director of the D-Hygea Lab (Digital solutions for health prevention - https://d-hygealab.deib.polimi.it/), and his current research interests include m-health solutions, natural language processing, patient engagement, health geomatics, and cardiovascular space physiology.
