I am working in the Interventional Cardiology field since 1982, started my career as a CCU-nurse. Over the years I had the position of chief nurse of the Cathlab during more than 25 years. Patient-care, innovation, new techniques and developments and new patient-pathways have had my interest for many years. This resulted that I started a PhD since 2014. The topic of my PhD concerns the TAVI pathway including quality of life aspects. Besides my daily work since 2017 as a TAVI coordinator am chair of the Dutch Working group Interventional cardiology of the NVHVV and member of the faculty of the Euro-PCR NAP program.
