Jeffrey W Christle, PhD is a clinical exercise physiologist in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA, USA who received his doctorate from the Department of Preventive Sports Medicine and Sports Cardiology at the Technical University of Munich in Germany. He leads the Stanford Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing Laboratory and is a member of Stanford Sports Cardiology, Stanford Center for Inherited Cardiovascular Disease and Stanford Biomarker and Phenotyping Core Laboratory. He is an internationally recognized expert in exercise testing, prescription and interpretation for individuals with and without cardiovascular disease. Dr. Christle’s scientific experience includes several large-scale clinical research trials on the effects of exercise in patients with and without cardiovascular disease and he has published many peer reviewed scientific papers on the subject.
