Professor Jacek Legutko is an interventional cardiologist with over 25 years of experience in the field. Currently serves as a Director of the Institute of Cardiology, Jagiellonian University Medical College, Head of the Clinical Department of Interventional Cardiology, John Paul II Hospital in Krakow and Chair of the Scientific Congress Committee of the Polish Cardiac Society. His main research interest is primary PCI in acute myocardial infarction, intravascular imaging and physiology guided therapy in coronary artery disease and complex percutaneous coronary interventions. He has performed a series of studies in this area and has participated in many clinical trials. He is also a Course Director of the New Frontiers in Interventional Cardiology (NFIC) and Faculty member, live case operator and facilitator for several interventional cardiology congresses and courses including TCT, C3, EuroPCR, EuroPCR Seminars, EuroPCR Webinars and Warsaw Course on Cardiovascular Interventions (WCCI.
