Doctor Dorothea Tsekoura

My current position is cardiologist in Aretaieio University Hospital in Athens. Everyday I examine patients and educate students and residents doctors. As I am the only cardiologist in my hospital surrounding by surgeons mostly, I have to persuade them change “habbits” concerning patients follow up and medication. My ambition is to take part in the management of Aretaieio hospital in order to participate in the field of “decision making” in a more dimocratic way than currently is. I am the head of our cardio-oncology clinic I have been responsible for the Greek edition of the Hellenic Journal of Cardiology since January 2008 I am a Collaborating Teaching Staff (CTS/SEP) of Hellenic Open University since 2021
