Manzoor Mahmood is a professor of cardiology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka, BANGLADESH since March 2019. His academic qualifications are MBBS MD MSc(London) MRCP(UK) Dip.Card & memberships include FRCP FACC, FRCP Edin, FESC. He has over 120 publications in peer reviewed journals including 23 in PubMed accessible journals. He presented 18 papers in international meetings & 13 abstracts were published in reputed journals such as Circulation, European Heart Journal Supplement, CVD Prevention & Control/ Global Heart , The Journal of Heart Disease of and Internal Medicine . He completed 3 research projects as principal/co-investigator funded by University Grants Commission (UGC) Bangladesh. He completed 2 theses for his MD degree from Dhaka University and MSc degree from Imperial College London. He guided 2 theses and co-guided 18 theses leading to MD degrees. He is an associate editor of University Heart Journal.
