Andre Terzic, MD, PhD, is Marriott Family Professor and Michael & Mary Sue Shannon Director, Center for Regenerative Medicine, Mayo Clinic. He is also Director, National Institutes of Health “Cardiovasology” Program, and Chair, FDA Pharmaceutical Science & Clinical Pharmacology Advisory Committee. Dr. Terzic served as Mayo Clinic Associate Dean; President, American Society for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics; Chair, Functional Genomics & Translational Biology Council, American Heart Association; Chair, Scientific Advisory Board, International Society for Cardiovascular Translational Research; and coordinator, Leducq Foundation Transatlantic Network of Excellence. Dr. Terzic is the recipient of numerous awards including the American Heart Association Basic Research Prize “for pioneering applications of emerging technologies to advance diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disorders”.
