Biography
Dr. Gragnano is Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University of Campania L. Vanvitelli and Consultant Cardiologist at the AORN S. Anna and S. Sebastiano, Caserta, Italy. He completed his medical degree (MD), specialization in Cardiology, and PhD in Translational Medical Sciences at the University of Campania L. Vanvitelli. From 2018 to 2020, he has done a Research Fellowship in Cardiology at Inselspital, Bern, Switzerland. Dr. Gragnano is Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and Italian Society of Cardiology (FISC). He is a Nucleus Member of the Italian (ISC) Working Group on Thrombosis and Interventional Cardiology. He served as Study Committee Member in international clinical trials, including GLOBAL LEADERS, PANTHER, SIDNEY-2, SIDNEY-3, SIDNEY-4, and TRANSFORM II. He has authored >190 publications, also in high-impact journals (Lancet, BMJ, Circulation, EHJ, JACC). He is Associate Editor of the European Heart Journal - Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy.
