Doctor Sophia Anastasia Mouratoglou

Sophia Anastasia Mouratoglou MD, MSc, PhD is a Cardiologist-Intensivist. She has received her diploma in Medicine in 2005 and her PhD with honors in 2018 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She is a holder of two MSc titles, one in Medical Clinical Research from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and one on Pulmonary Vascular Diseases from University of Bologna, Italy. She worked as a research fellow in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at the Amsterdam UMC of The Netherlands and is currently working as a post-PhD researcher with a focus on Congenital Heart Disease and Pulmonary Hypertension. She is a reviewer in international medical journals. She has authored/co-authored numerous scientific publications indexed in PubMed and she has been awarded research scholarships from the European Social Fund as well as numerous research grants. She has license to practice medicine in Greece and in Germany.
