Biography
Bilal Çuğlan, MD, PhD, FESC is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University of Health Sciences, Istanbul, Türkiye, and serves as the Education Coordinator of the Cardiology Clinic at Istanbul Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. He received specialist training in cardiology and subsequently completed a PhD in Public Health, combining clinical cardiology with an interest in cardiovascular prevention and population health. His clinical practice focuses on interventional cardiology and heart failure, while his research interests include preventive cardiology, cardiovascular inflammation, cardiometabolic diseases, and clinical outcomes research. Dr. Çuğlan is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and has contributed to national and international scientific publications. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and regularly participates in collaborative clinical research and peer review activities.
