She is Senior Consultant Cardiology at the Department of Cardiology, University Hospital of North Norway, Tromsø and Professor Preventive Medicine at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø
She is deputy Director of Curriculum at School of Medicine
She is performing epidemiological and clinical research on atrial fibrillation, heart failure and ischemic heart disease with main focus on sex differences and modifiable risk factors
