Dr. Catarina Ferreira is a Cardiology Assistant since 2014 at S. Pedro's Hospital (Hospital de São Pedro) - Hospital of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (Hospital de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro) EPE (CHTMAD), Vila Real, Portugal. Dr. Ferreira is a Level III certified in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance, by the European Society of Cardiology, since 2016 and Head/Responsible for the “Advanced Cardiac Imaging Unit of CMR and cardiac CT” of the CHTMAD. Dr Ferreira is a Guest Assistant Professor lecturing 4th year students of the Integrated Master degree on Medicine in the Cardio-circulatory block (theoretical and practical classes), at Faculty of Health Sciences (FCS) of the University of Beira Interior (Universidade da Beira Interior) (UBI), Covilhã. Dr. Ferreira is also a PhD student in Medical Faculty - FCS (UBI) developing the investigation in CMR and cardiomyopathies field.
