Bachelor's at Physical Education (1998), master's at Sciences (Experimental Pathophysiology) from University of São Paulo (2006) and doctorate at Sciences (Cardiology) from University of São Paulo (2010). Currently is Full Professor at São Paulo State University - UNESP, where is coordinator of the Exercise and Chronic Disease Research Laboratory - ECDR. Has experience in Exercise Sciences and Exercise Physiology, acting on the following subjects: "Acute and chronic adaptations to exercise: noncommunicable chronic disease"; "Physical exercise applied to prevention and rehabilitation of noncommunicable chronic disease"; and "Exercise and aging".
