Biography
Dmytro Volkov was born in Ukraine on 05.08.1972. Graduated from Medical University in 1996 he’d been working as cardiologist in 1996-2000 before moving to Institute of Surgery of NAMSU in 2001 to continue with interventional arrhythmology. He got PhD degree and became chief of diagnostics department in 2004 and EP Lab in 2013. In February 2021 he got DMedSc degree on “Routes of permanent cardiac pacing optimization”. Having numerous training including 3 months course in IKEM (Prague) he did near 3000 international procedures (implantations and ablations). Dmytro Volkov was certified as EHRA Cardiac Device Specialist in 2013 and 2015, re-certified in 2025. He is co-author of more than 100 articles in press, including EHJ and JACC and 3 US patents. In 2023-2024 he did fellowship in TCAI, Austin, Texas. Now he’s working in Neuron Medical, Brno, Czechia. He is inventor of FlowCardioGraphy - the original patented method of blood flow evaluation.
