Born in Spain (1980). Medical degree in 2004 and finishing of cardiology training in 2010. Master degree in Statistics at the Autonomous
University of Barcelona (Spain). By means of a post-residency grant for international research from EHRA, he performed his training in electrophysiology at the Heart Rhythm Management Centre, UZ Brussel, completing it in December 2011. He worked as electrophysiologist in Hospital Clínico Universitario Santiago de Compostela between 2012 and 2014. Afterwards, in 2015, he joined as a research fellow, to the Cardiac Electrophysiology team at the Houston Methodist Debakey Heart & Vascular Center. In 2016 he joined again the electrophysiology team Hospital de Santiago de Compostela. This year he obtained a PhD in Medical Sciences by the University of Santiago de Compostela. His scientific interest focuses in sudden cardiac death and primary arrhythmic diseases. He has published more than 120 scientific articles in international peer reviewed journals
