Biography
Head Unit of Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR) and Senior Cardiologist Ospedale Cecina (Livorno). 1987: “Laurea cum Laude”, MD, 1990: Diploma in CVD, 1996 Diploma Ultrasound Diagnosis in Angiology all at Pisa University. Fellow of ESC and of ANMCO. 2008: Member of EACP; 2015: Grader for ESC and ANMCO congress. 1996 member of AICPR and since 2018 Member of the National Executive Council. Now Member of the Board of director of ITACARE-P2014.ANMCO memeber. 2015 SIPREreCA (Member of the Executive Council). 64 papers published in peer-reviewed journals; more than 190 communications in Italian and international conferences. 15 Guest Lectures in Preventive / Rehabilitative Cardiology; 2 chapters of books Cardiac Rehabilitation in cardiooncology. Fields of interest: CR, physical training and QOL in CAD and HF; primary and secondary prevention, complication after cardiac surgery; dyslipidemia; CORE. Languages ​​spoken: english, spanish, slovenian, italian. I love playing the guitar.
