Biography
Dr. Patricia Pellikka is Editor-in-Chief, Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography; President, Mayo Clinic Officers and Councilors; Vice Chair, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Mayo Clinic; The Betty Knight Scripps Professor in Cardiovascular Diseases Clinical Research; Director, Ultrasound Research Center, Mayo Clinic; and Professor of Medicine, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Her professional interests include echocardiography, artificial intelligence, imaging, and stress testing, and their application to valvular heart disease, heart failure, carcinoid heart disease, and ischemic heart disease to improve patient outcomes.
