Joanne Loades is a cardiovascular specialist nurse who held a variety of roles within the NHS before becoming an independent nurse consultant in 2010; delivering clinical, educational and consultancy services to a number of NHS and other organisations. Joanne passionately believes in educating healthcare professionals to improve patient care and has recently taken up the role of Clinical Director for Learn With Nurses, a Community Interest Company providing online clinical education to healthcare professionals around the world. She is a member of the Nurses and AHP Working Party of The British and Irish Hypertension Society and sits on the Editorial Board of General Practice Nursing journal. Joanne has authored many publications in the nursing and cardiology press both in the UK and internationally. She is currently engaged as a Council and Primary Care Home Faculty Member with the National Association of Primary Care and is Clinical Director for South Norfolk Healthcare GPPO.
