I am a Senior Consultant Cardiologist and Clinician Scientist at the National Heart Centre Singapore and an Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. I completed advanced fellowship in multimodality cardiovascular imaging clinical fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, USA as well as a Master of Public Health degree at the Harvard School of Public Health majoring in clinical effectiveness. With the blessings of many benefactors and mentors, I lead research on cardiovascular ageing integrating clinical and molecular techniques geared towards improving mechanistic understanding of cardiovascular disease pathogenesis in older adults. My team have received multiple national competitive grants over past decade and have supported multiple research students over the years spanning across clinical medicine, public health, biomedical engineering, and data science.
