Jennifer Linge is the Chief Scientific Officer at AMRA Medical, and researcher at Linköping University in Sweden. She has a background within engineering mathematics, specializing in biological- and medical modelling, and a PhD in medical science focused on muscle composition and sarcopenia. The past 10 years, her research has been centered around MRI-based muscle composition and fat distribution using large datasets to develop more individual-centric disease predictions within metabolic and wasting disorders. Her long-term and current focus is on quantitative descriptions of muscle mass and myosteatosis derived from a rapid MRI scan, and its relationship with morbidity, disease progression and outcomes, including the effect on muscle composition from weight management therapies.
