I am a MD, PhD, MPG currently employed as a consultant in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at Zealand University Hospital, Denmark with a focus on ablation of cardiac arrythmias. I am an associate professor at the University of Copenhagen and I have >13 years of clinical and research experience in internal medicine and cardiology. From 2010-2014, I was a full-time PhD scholar including one post-doctoral research year at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, focused on clinical pharmacology regarding anti-platelet and anti-coagulant therapy. I have authored and co-authored >50 international peer-reviewed articles and several book chapters, mainly focused on interventional cardiology. Alongside my clinics and research, I have an interest in healthcare governance and I graduated in 2019 with distinction from a 2-year master program in Public Governance at the Copenhagen Business School.
