Paweł Balsam, BA, MD, PhD, Associate Professor He graduated from Warsaw Medical University and Warsaw School of Economics. Currently he is an employee of the First Department of Cardiology, Medical University of Warsaw, Co-Chair of the Young EP Committee of the EHRA, responsible for social media , member of the Board of Association of Prevention and Epidemiology of the Polish Cardiac Society and member of the Commission of Informatics and Telemedicine of Polish Society of Cardiology. Within HeartTeam LLC in cooperation and companies from the broader world of mobile health, he founded the Foundation of Telemedical Working Group. From October 2017, he was a part of the expert group on eHealth Strategy at the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digitization. He is the author of numerous mobile applications supporting the work of doctors and care of patients. Clinically he deals with arrhythmia (ablation procedures), often using modern imaging technology.
