Mandeep R. Mehra, MD is The William Harvey Distinguished Chair in Advanced Cardiovascular Medicine and a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and Executive Director of the Center for Advanced Heart Disease in Boston, Massachusetts. He specializes in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation and has served as President of the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation and President of the Heart Failure Society of America. Additionally, Mehra is the current Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation. He has an honorary Masters from Harvard University and completed a Masters of Science from the London School of Economics in Healthcare economics, outcomes and management as the Braunwald Scholar.
