Yi-Heng Li, MD, PhD, is a senior attending physician of the Division of Cardiology at National Cheng Kung University Hospital in Tainan, Taiwan, where he is also a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine in the University’s College of Medicine. Dr. Li earned his medical degree from Kaohsiung Medical University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and his PhD from the Graduate Institute of Basic Medical Science at National Cheng Kung University. He received cardiology fellowship training in the National Taiwan University Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan and completed a research fellowship in the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences and the Debakey Heart Center at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, USA. Dr. Li is a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and the American College of Cardiology.
