Bente Skovsby Toft is a health service researcher with expertise in humanistic health science and sports science approaches to investigate health professional and patient experience of health and illness to innovate practice. She is experienced in using rapid, scoping and systematic review methods, and different types of qualitative interviews and participatory research methods including patient and public involvement in research. She is engaged in multidisciplinary and cross-sectional research developing and evaluating complex interventions aiming to enhance patient involvement in health services and identify the needs of staff and service infrastructure to change current practice.
