Mr Gilberto Hiram Acosta Gutierrez

Gilberto Hiram Acosta Gutiérrez is a medical graduate with a degree in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez. He completed his medical internship at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubirán in 2023. Currently, in 2024, he is serving as a Social Service Medical Intern in the Research modality at the National Institute of Cardiology Ignacio Chávez in Mexico City, Mexico. He has experience in both basic and clinical research, as well as diplomas in applied biostatistics. He is currently working in the field of Cardio-oncology, with a particular focus on the research line of cardiotoxicity. He was awarded the national Pfizer-AMMEF prize in 2024 and has contributed as both author and co-author to scientific articles in the field of cardiology. He speaks three languages: Spanish, English, and French. His main hobbies include reading science fiction and studying applied physics.
