Giovanni Fazio, MD was born in Ragusa on June 11st, 1978. Specialist in Cardiology. PhD on Diagnostic science and biomedical technology. Secondary level Master in Project Management He is the Director of the Deparment of Medicine, Cardiology, Angiology and long term care in Triolo-Zancla Hospital in Palermo He also works as both cardiologist and sports medicine physician at many centers and he is member of Italian Federation of Sport Medicine (FMSI). He has gained a considerable experience in Italy personally performing about 15,000 exams per year. Dr. Giovanni Fazio is author of approx. 250 scientific publications – being first author in about two third of them – published in more then 50 different world journals. He is member of 10 Scientific societies and of many Task Forces
