Biography
Tongshuai Guo is a cardiologist at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. His clinical and research work focuses on hypertension, cardiovascular epidemiology, and life-course cardiovascular risk factors. He is involved in several long-term cohort studies, including the Hanzhong Adolescent Hypertension Study, and has research interests in blood pressure trajectories, obesity, arterial stiffness, and subclinical cardiovascular target-organ damage from childhood to adulthood. Dr. Guo is also active in hypertension management and cardiovascular prevention programs in China. He is a council member of the Chinese Hypertension League and a member of several academic societies related to hypertension and cardiovascular medicine.
